Maisy Ho Chiu Ha, the third daughter of late casino tycoon Stanley Ho, has passed away at the age of approximately 60. As reported by New Monday, the long-serving Executive Director of Shun Tak Holdings died peacefully on April 12 2026. Her family confirmed that she was surrounded by loved ones at the time of her passing.
In a joint family statement, her siblings, including Pansy Ho, Daisy Ho, Josie Ho and Lawrence Ho, expressed profound grief and gratitude for the public’s concern and condolences, while requesting privacy during this difficult period.
Shun Tak Holdings also issued an official announcement confirming her passing and extending its deepest sympathies. During her tenure, Maisy Ho played an important role in supporting the group’s operations across property development, transportation, hospitality, leisure, and investments. She was once described by her father as one of his most dependable daughters.
A graduate of Pepperdine University in the United States with a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications and psychology, Ho was later awarded an Honorary University Fellowship by the University of Hong Kong in 2018 in recognition of her achievements and service.
Beyond the corporate sphere, Ho was deeply committed to philanthropy and public service. She held key positions in numerous charitable and community organizations, including leadership roles within the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals and the Hong Kong Volunteers Federation. In 2024, she was appointed a Justice of the Peace, reflecting her significant contributions to society.
Her passing has drawn heartfelt tributes from the business and charitable communities, with many remembering her as a low-profile yet dedicated figure whose compassion and commitment left a lasting mark on Hong Kong.
