Promotion follows transition from legal career to executive role

BetBoom has promoted Laura Morganti to the role of Country Head for Brazil, marking a new phase in the company’s regional expansion and local leadership structure.

Morganti announced the promotion, describing the move as a significant milestone following her transition from a nearly 25-year legal career into the corporate betting sector.

Her background includes advising companies on strategic decisions within leading law firms before entering the industry.

“After nearly 25 years advising companies on strategic decisions in top-tier law firms, I made one of the most challenging decisions of my professional journey: transitioning to the corporate environment,” she said.

“Today, I am pleased to share that I have been promoted to Country Head of BetBoom LatAm in Brazil.”

According to Morganti, the shift from legal advisory to an executive role within a newly regulated and fast-evolving market required “adaptation and resilience.”

She also credited the local team and global leadership for enabling her progression into the role.

“This achievement is not individual. It is the direct result of an extremely qualified team in Brazil and visionary global leadership that trusted my work from the beginning and gave me space to contribute strategically,” she said.

Morganti highlighted recent milestones for the company’s Brazil operation, noting that BetBoom LatAm received industry recognition within its first 15 months in the market. She also pointed to the importance of balancing growth with responsibility as the sector continues to evolve.
