The UAE Lottery has opened its first physical retail outlet in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi, marking a significant step in expanding access to its games across the country, as reported by Khaleej Times.
Located in the M40 area, the shop allows customers aged 18 and above to purchase tickets in person for games including Lucky Day Draw and Pick 3. Players can pay on-site, with trained staff available to assist both new and existing customers with game selection and enquiries.
The launch represents a shift from a purely digital platform to a hybrid model, combining online participation with a physical retail presence. The operator said the move is aimed at broadening its reach and enhancing accessibility as participation continues to grow following its initial launch.
The UAE Lottery is the first and only official lottery in the United Arab Emirates, operating under the oversight of the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority. The regulator is responsible for ensuring a secure, transparent and compliant gaming environment.
The operator reiterated its commitment to responsible gaming, stating that tools and support resources are available to help players make informed decisions. Protecting minors remains a core priority, with strict measures in place to prevent anyone under the age of 18 from opening an account or participating in lottery games.
Beyond entertainment, the UAE Lottery said it seeks to contribute positively to national development by supporting local communities and projects of national importance, while aiming to set new standards for responsible and community-focused lottery operations in the region.
