FC Lazio has announced a new multi-year partnership with Polymarket, which will become the club’s main sponsor as well as its official fan intelligence and digital insights partner.
The international agreement positions FC Lazio among a select group of European clubs chosen by Polymarket. As part of this collaboration, Lazio will be the first club in the Italian Serie A to represent the brand.
The deal takes effect immediately and covers the remainder of the current season, as well as the 2026/27 and 2027/28 seasons, with an option for 2028/29. Its total value exceeds $22m, with additional performance-related and activation bonuses.
FC Lazio President, Claudio Lotito, said: “Polymarket is a partner that represents the future, capable of interpreting and analysing phenomena with innovative tools. This agreement strengthens Lazio’s international growth path and confirms the club’s desire to position itself as an increasingly modern, open and competitive entity within the new global sports landscape.”
Polymarket CMO, Matthew Modabber, added: “Lazio is a historic organisation with a forward-looking vision. We are proud to collaborate with a club that shares our approach to innovation and data utilisation, with the goal of building new experiences and new models in the sports world together.”
The partnership aims to explore innovative models of fan engagement and strengthen the club’s global profile through initiatives designed to integrate advanced analysis, prediction and digital content.
Earlier this month, Polymarket also entered its first European football league partnership with La Liga. The multi-year collaboration will feature heightened broadcast visibility, fan-focused digital and social programming and exclusive fan experiences such as VIP match hospitality and meet-and-greets with well-known La Liga players.
In Europe, regulators have taken a strict stance towards prediction markets, with a number of EU authorities ordering operators such as Polymarket to cease trading in their jurisdictions
