The iGaming brand StarGames, operated by Greentube Malta, has extended its partnership with football club Borussia Dortmund until 2029.

The brand has been a partner of the club since 2024, and its platform mainly focuses on online slot machines.

Until 2029, the StarGames star will remain present at every Bundesliga home match on LED boards, in stadium TV screens and online, featuring engaging content around the “match facts.”

StarGames will also receive increased visibility during halftime. In addition, it will remain active off the pitch with giveaways, promotions and exclusive content.

StarGames Brand Manager László Pados stated: “The first year of our partnership with BVB has impressively shown how strongly shared values connect – and how much potential lies in this collaboration.

“Not only do the colours of StarGames perfectly match black and yellow, but also our attitude towards fair play, fan proximity, and entertainment. We look forward to continuing this successful path and jointly creating many more exciting projects for the fans.”

In February, sports betting operator Tipico became the National Sponsor of the Sporthilfe, the German Sports Aid Foundation, strengthening its presence within the German sports ecosystem.

The partnership is designed to support Germany’s top athletes during critical stages of their careers.

Meanwhile, in Italy, Serie A clubs are calling for a review or abolition of the Dignity Decree to relax restrictions on gambling advertising and sponsorship.

Several club executives argue that the current rules place Serie A at a competitive disadvantage compared to other European leagues, where betting sponsorships and partnerships are more common.
