Spribe has signed UFC fighter and current flyweight champion Alexandre 'Cannibal' Pantoja as the newest brand ambassador for its crash game Aviator.
The Brazilian fighter will promote the game to fans in his home country over the next 12 months via several high-profile campaigns, and is part of Spribe's wider UFC partnership, after it signed a sponsorship deal with the UFC in October 2023. The partnership has proven successful, with Spribe reporting monthly player growth from 10 million to 60 million, with 40,000 bets placed every minute across over 5,000 online casinos and sportsbooks.
On the partnership, Spribe CCO Giorgi Tsutskiridze said: "Alexandre Pantoja is considered one of the greatest flyweight fighters in UFC history, so to have him promoting Aviator to his fans is a major coup for us.
"Aviator is quickly becoming one of the most popular casino games in Brazil, a place where Alexandre is considered something of a hero. This makes the partnership hugely powerful for the Brazilian market.
"But his fanbase is truly global, and we are excited to be making more people aware of the thrill ride Aviator provides via some great campaigns we have planned with Alexandre."
Pantoja himself added: "Aviator is all about high risk and high reward, and provides a thrilling experience from the moment you strap in and take flight.
"It really is a white-knuckle ride, and I'm excited about making my fans aware of Aviator and why it's the number one crash game in the world."
Aviator's list of UFC partners is expansive. Beginning in early 2024 with Alex Pereira, Aviator's ambassadors now also include Johnny Walker, Merab 'The Machine' Dvalishvili, Tom Aspinall, Arman Tsarukyan, Diego Lopes and Michael 'Venom' Page. Other non-UFC partners include Brazilian boxer Jully Poca and former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina.
The partnership comes shortly after Spribe announced it had had its UK gaming licence suspended, after the Gambling Commission found Spribe to hold the inappropriate licence for its operations
