Ainsworth Game Technology has appointed Matt Smith as the supplier’s new VP of Marketing and Product Strategy, where he will oversee various initiatives to help expand the Ainsworth brand and provide enhanced gaming experiences for North American consumers.
“Matt’s combination of operator insight and product leadership makes him an exceptional addition to our team,” Ainsworth Acting CEO Ryan Comstock said.
“Matt’s expertise and proven track record is expected to positively contribute to current product strategies and strengthen our position in the market.”
Prior to joining Ainsworth, Smith spent eight years with International Game Technology (IGT), most recently serving as Director of Premium Product Management where he helped launch titles which resonated with both operators and casino players.
Smith also gained experience in casino operations and player engagement while working in the slot department of various properties owned by MGM Resorts International, including Bellagio Resort & Casino.
The new Ainsworth VP of Marketing & Product Strategy spoke on his appointment, having said, “I’m excited to join Ainsworth at such a pivotal time.

Ainsworth also worked to strengthen its North American leadership team with the appointment of Randi Ingram as its new SVP of Sales and Service in December 2025, where she began to "spearhead" sales, service and customer engagement efforts across the region.
Ingram's appointment was said to "underscore Ainsworth's commitment" to improving partnerships and providing creative product portfolios for customers throughout North America.
