The latest investigation initiated by the Buenos Aires Justice seized a number of mechanisms linked to illegal gambling.

Officers tracked the address of the illegal gambling operation and eventually linked it to a property in the neighborhood of Villa Lugano.

The raid was carried out by the Specialized Prosecutor's Office on Gambling (FEJA), led by Juan Rozas, with the intervention of the Legal Secretary Rodrigo Branca.

The Lotería de la Ciudad was present during the raid, along with members of local law enforcement.

During the incursion, several items were seized from the property and taken for closer inspection.

These include phones, computers, packs of cards, betting slips, paperwork and other devices that can be linked to illegal gambling operations.

The person linked to the scheme has been detained, and a judicial case has been launched against them.

This marks yet another raid carried out by the Lotería de la Ciudad as the regulator continues to tackle the illegal gambling market.

In a previous raid, more than 98 items that could be tracked back to the assembly and manufacture of electronic slot machines were found in a property posing as a cashier.

Meanwhile, in nearby Colombia, the Military Police Battalion No. 2 of the National Army seized and destroyed 300 illegal gambling items and 157 slot machines to prevent them from falling back into the hands of criminals.
