Light & Wonder celebrated its office relocation and expansion in Sliema, Malta.
The supplier’s investment will support its continued growth in the iGaming sector across EMEA and beyond.
The expansion will help support and expand its teams, talent acquisition and enhanced operational capabilities in Malta.
The office opening was marked with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by multiple senior-ranking staff, including, Simon Johnson, CEO of Light & Wonder, iGaming, Ivan Filletti, CEO of GamingMalta and representatives from GamingMalta, the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), and Light & Wonder customers and partner studios.
“Expanding our presence in Malta reflects our continued investment in regulated iGaming markets and in the talent that supports our global growth,” said Simon Johnson.

Light & Wonder was awarded a 10-year contract by the Illinois Gaming Board
Further expanding its leadership and personnel, Light & Wonder appointed Lauren Bates as General Manager for Canada recently.
Malta currently serves as a scaled operational hub for Light & Wonder’s iGaming business and assists its teams across technology, product, compliance and commercial functionality.
