Following the kickoff of the 2026 FIFA World Cup on 11 June, TalkSport has named bet365 as the live radio network’s headline bookmaker partner for the global tournament, marking the beginning of a “high-profile collaboration” between the two entities. 

“I’m delighted that we’re partnering with bet365 as our headline bookmaking partner across what is set to be the world’s biggest sporting tournament ever. TalkSport will be the destination for live commentary and livelier opinions from the first whistle to the lifting of the trophy,” Head of TalkSport Liam Fisher said. 

To celebrate the new collaboration, bet365 recently sponsored the inaugural TalkSport Padel World Cup on 2 June, and will also receive branding opportunities across live match broadcasts, digital content and social channels.

The operator is also set to sponsor TalkSport’s pre-tournament preview show Road to the Final and fellow World Cup content as part of the new agreement. 

Alex Sefton, bet365’s Global CMO, also spoke on the deal with TalkSport: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with TalkSport across what we’re hoping will be an incredible summer of football.

“TalkSport has an unmatched ability to engage passionate football audiences across multiple platforms, and we look forward to working together throughout the tournament to deliver compelling content and experiences for fans.”

The inaugural TalkSport Padel World Cup was hosted from Padium in Canary Wharf and brought together a mixture of TalkSport personalities, Premier League winners and additional figures across media, rugby and padel. 

bet365 officially launched its free mobile game bet365 Fantasy Sports on 4 June, ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup which featured victories from Mexico and South Korea as part of the opening day of play.
