Betnacional has announced a partnership with Casa RR, a World Cup fan experience in Miami built around former Brazilian football star Ronaldo Nazário strengthening the operator’s presence during one of the most commercially important periods for the betting industry.
The initiative is part of Betnacional’s “Get your passion in the game” campaign and marks the beginning of a partnership between the operator and Rede Ronaldo.
As the only betting sponsor of the project, Betnacional will participate in the venue’s programming through branded activations, guest experiences and a dedicated celebration scheduled for 22 June.
According to the company, the event will feature “one of the greatest names in the history of Brazilian sport” alongside an artistic tribute inspired by the emotions that have helped make football a national passion, mentioning CR9 or Ronaldo Fenomeno, as he’s known in Brazil.
The partnership comes as Brazil’s regulated betting sector prepares for what many executives expect to be a record-breaking World Cup.
Industry estimates suggest Brazilian bettors could generate up to BR31bn ($6bn) in wagering activity during the tournament, making it the first major World Cup held under the country’s regulated betting framework.
Jorge Peixoto, Head of Brand Experience at Flutter Brazil, said the partnership reflects Betnacional’s strategy of connecting with football fans through culturally relevant experiences.
“Football has always been about connection. About finding people who feel the same way you do about a club, a shirt or a story,” he said.
“That is what this campaign seeks to celebrate. Casa RR becomes part of that journey because it shares the same passion and the same way of seeing football.”
The venue will also feature a collection of trophies, medals and memorabilia from the two-time World Cup winner’s playing career.
