Betclic becomes official sponsor of Poland's men's amputee football team through 2028
Agreement also covers the women's national team and the amputee football Ekstraklasa
Deal expands the operator's growing sports sponsorship portfolio in the regulated Polish betting market

Betclic Polska has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Polish Amputee Football Association (PZAF), becoming the official sponsor of the Polish men's national amputee football team until the end of 2028.

The partnership also includes support for the women's national team and the amputee football Ekstraklasa, with Betclic securing category exclusivity within the betting sector. The operator's branding will appear on official match kits and across other national team assets.

The agreement adds another sports property to Betclic's expanding sponsorship portfolio in Poland, where the operator has invested heavily in football partnerships as competition among licensed bookmakers intensifies.

Betclic currently serves as title sponsor of Poland's I Liga, II Liga and III Liga football competitions under a long-term agreement signed in 2024. The operator has also established partnerships across basketball, esports and other sporting properties in the country.

The sponsorship comes as amputee football continues to gain visibility across Europe. Poland has been one of the sport's strongest markets, regularly competing at the highest level internationally and helping drive the development of women's amputee football.

UEFA has previously highlighted the growth of the discipline, while governing bodies have pushed for broader recognition and participation opportunities across the continent.

The Polish betting market remains one of the largest regulated sports betting sectors in Central and Eastern Europe. Licensed operators compete within a framework that restricts private companies to sports betting activities, while online casino remains under state control.

As a result, sports sponsorships have become a key avenue for operators seeking brand visibility and customer acquisition.

Betclic Polska Partnership Marketing Specialist, Szymon Stachowicz, said: "The main slogan of our latest campaign is 'One Betclic for excitement' and in the case of these teams' matches, excitement is simply guaranteed."

PZAF President Mateusz Widłak said: "Starting our partnership with Betclic means more than just sponsorship."

Widłak added: "We're thrilled to have a brand joining our community that understands the excitement surrounding amputee football and wants to develop the sport with us."

The parties said they intend to undertake joint initiatives beyond traditional sponsorship activation, including community-focused projects involving amputee football players.

Earlier this year, Betclic owner Banijay completed the sale of its controlling stake in Bet-at-home as part of preparations for its planned combination with Tipico. The transaction forms part of a broader restructuring of Banijay's gaming assets across several European regulated markets.
