The game combines a lottery ball draw format with an arcade-style endless runner bonus round, in which an animated Maradona collects soccer balls that activate multipliers, speed boosts and prize doublers
Players can manage up to eight interactive cards during the main game and access three bonus ticket tiers

CreedRoomz has launched Maradona Run, a live game show that replaces the visual identity of its existing interactive format with a 3D animated caricature of Diego Maradona wearing the iconic number 10 jersey, with the release positioned around the FIFA World Cup 2026.

The game's core mechanics remain unchanged from the company's base product. The main game stage takes place in a studio setting where lottery balls styled as footballs are drawn while players manage up to eight cards.

A bonus round shifts the action to an animated street course where the Maradona character collects glowing soccer balls that correspond to gameplay advantages, including total payout multipliers, energy speed boosts and prize doublers. The maximum payout potential is 10,000x the bet.

Armen Mnatsakanyan, Head of Sales at CreedRoomz, said: "Securing the official rights for Maradona Run allows us to hand our partners a massive competitive advantage just in time for the World Cup games. By merging the legendary global appeal of Maradona with our high-retention endless-runner mechanic, we have created a premium crossover product that effortlessly converts football fans into loyal live casino players.

“The proven logic and math models are exactly what operators trust, but the brand power and vibrant new look make this a must-have commercial powerhouse."

Elsewhere in Argentina, there has been controversy surrounding BetWarrior's AI-generated Maradona advertising campaign during the FIFA World Cup 2026, released in Argentina. The use of the football icon appears to have been authorized by rights holders, yet the campaign has renewed broader discussions around posthumous image rights and consent.

The debate has highlighted how operators and suppliers may remain exposed to reputational scrutiny even when their use of a celebrity's likeness is legally authorized.

Good to know

The live game show format features a human presenter appearing alongside the animated Maradona caricature in real time, a format CreedRoomz describes as its signature interactive game show concept
