The Spanish gambling regulator has granted Codere Online a renewed technical certification for its roulette and blackjack systems, allowing the operator to continue offering both games until 2036.
The renewal was approved following a regulatory review process, during which the operator's documentation received a favorable assessment from the relevant authorities.
The certification covers Codere Online's roulette and blackjack licenses, which were originally approved in 2016. Under Spain's gambling regulations, technical homologations remain valid for 10 years, extending the operator's authorization until June 2036.
The resolution confirms that Codere Online's gaming systems comply with the technical requirements needed to offer roulette and blackjack to players in Spain. The regulator also emphasized that the certification does not affect its ongoing supervisory and enforcement powers, while any future modifications to critical system components will remain subject to regulatory approval.
The detailed technical assessment supporting the certification will remain confidential under Spain's transparency legislation, which protects commercially sensitive information.
The latest approval follows a separate certification renewal granted in 2025 for Codere Online's sports betting and horse racing products, extending the operator's regulatory authorizations across multiple verticals.
Under Spain's gambling framework, the DGOJ is required to notify the autonomous city of Melilla of any technical homologation granted to a licensed operator, a procedural obligation reflected in the resolution
