Gaming Arts will be adapting a curated portfolio of online casino titles from Evolution and turning them into gaming cabinets for retail casinos.
Bluehare Studios will also be brought onto the project to help adapt the games into a physical cabinet.
Evolution has confirmed that four titles will be part of the experimental phase one, which will see Divine Fortune transformed into Divine Fortune Ascension; and Starburst reimagined as Starburst Supernova.
These will retain their game mechanics, features and branding, but Gaming Arts will include "new innovative additions" to the land-based iterations.
The first cabinets are expected to launch in the US as soon as Q4 2025 and will be deployed alongside an omnichannel marketing campaign.
While many studios and operators have invested in digital copies of well-loved retail casino games, this marks the first notable time that the reverse has happened.
Several industry executives have commented on the possibility of bringing online games to the casino floor through emulators, or full adaptations as Gaming Arts is doing, to create a true omnichannel experience.
Awager is an example of a company that produces 'pure omnichannel' within gaming.
