The certification allows PopOK Gaming to supply its slot and instant game catalog to licensed operators in Argentina
The announcement follows PopOK Gaming's Swiss market certification earlier this month

PopOK Gaming has obtained certification to operate in Argentina, clearing the iGaming content developer to supply its portfolio of slot and instant games to licensed operators in the market.

The certification confirms that PopOK Gaming's content has met the applicable regulatory and technical requirements for the approved jurisdiction, although the company did not specify which provincial authority granted the certification.

According to the supplier, the certification forms part of its strategy to expand across regulated markets while strengthening its presence in Latin America.

The Argentina announcement comes days after PopOK Gaming secured certification in Switzerland, where it cleared requirements under the Swiss Federal Gambling Act covering game fairness, security and player protection. The company has previously obtained certifications in Sweden, Malta and Romania, among other regulated European markets.

Argentina's provincial regulatory model requires suppliers to obtain approval for each jurisdiction in which they intend to operate, as online gambling is regulated independently by each province rather than under a single national framework.

The expansion of regulated online gambling has continued across several provinces in recent months. In June, for example, BetWarrior launched operations in Santa Fe after being authorized by the provincial regulator, further expanding its presence in Argentina's regulated market.

Earlier this month, PopOK Gaming also announced a partnership with former Brazilian international Ronaldinho to launch Ronaldinho da Sorte, a football-themed slot game aimed at the .com market. The title is now available for operator integration.

Good to know

Unlike most regulated iGaming markets, Argentina has no single national online gambling framework. Regulation is managed at the provincial level, with jurisdictions maintaining separate licensing and certification requirements
