Following its multi-year partnership with the St. Louis Cardinals MLB franchise, originally formed on November 12, bet365 has officially launched its mobile sports betting operations in Missouri. The Show Me State's newly regulated sports betting market will open on December 1, featuring expansion from fellow operators such as FanDuel, DraftKings, Circa Sports and Caesars.
"We're thrilled to bring our world-class mobile sports betting experience to Missouri and to partner with one of Major League Baseball's most storied franchises," bet365 Head of Development Trip Stoddard said.
"Missouri has a passionate sports community, and we think fans will love bet365's unique betting features and industry-leading odds."
The operator's multi-year marketing partnership with the St. Louis Cardinals also represented the first time bet365 has named an official mobile sports betting partner.
Missouri will now become the 16th US market in which bet365 is currently conducting business, joining states such as New Jersey, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
The operator will also be offering an exclusive promotion for Missouri bettors at the time of sign-up, providing $365 in bonus bets on any $10 wager.
Sports bettors in Missouri will now be able to download the bet365 mobile betting application, which features in-play features such as the early payout offer.
In related news, Caesars sportsbook opened registration for Missouri bettors on November 17 as well, representing the first state to gain access to the operator's universal digital wallet functionality on the opening day of operations.
Along with the expected mobile launch on December 1, Caesars will also provide retail sports betting at its Missouri properties, including Harrah's Kansas City and Horseshoe St. Louis.
The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency approved bet365's application for an online sports wagering license during a regulatory hearing on August 28
