BetMGM has unveiled the official re-launch of Borgata Online, featuring a “refreshed interface, streamlined navigation and ongoing feature parity,” while Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa will host a Fourth of July weekend celebration to mark the “major platform evolution.” 

Borgata Online obtained New Jersey’s first-ever internet gambling permit on October 9, 2013, from the Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE), prior to being part of the state’s initial soft-launch group on November 21. 

Although records only date back to 2015, Borgata Online has contributed $250m in taxes to New Jersey and currently offers 4,000 titles to iGaming players, including 250 exclusive games and a live dealer offering. 

“Borgata wrote the first chapter of legal online gambling in 2013 and now we are writing the next one. Borgata players are some of our most engaged and loyal customers, so we wanted to ensure their experience reflects the exceptional quality that has become synonymous with the Borgata name,” BetMGM CRO Matt Prevost said. 

“Borgata provides a seamless connection to online and in-person experiences and exemplifies what a legal, regulated online casino can achieve. This latest product investment underscores how seriously we take our responsibility to players, regulators and all who have made Borgata Online what it is today.”

Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa and Borgata Online will present a fireworks show on July 3, as well as celebrate its launch with a multi-day on‑property activation.

As part of the re-launch, a redesigned account hub centralizes information including available bonuses, playable balance and withdrawable balance, while a unified Rewards Hub consolidates promotions, Borgata Rewards points and MGM Rewards tier status. 

On June 26, BetMGM opened the pre-registration process for prospective iGaming players in Alberta, ahead of the province’s anticipated market launch on July 13 and representing the operator’s first international expansion since entering Ontario in 2022.

In celebration of the launch in Alberta, BetMGM will sponsor a new sweepstakes where players can win two tickets to a NHL game of their choosing during the 2026-2027 regular season.
