1xBet has established and launched 1xCare, a hub for player protection, responsible gambling and harm prevention.
The 1xCare platform will consolidate a range of initiatives under one unified framework, including relevant research, education, technology and player care programmes.
Simon Westbury, 1xBet Chair, said: “Responsible gambling is not a slogan; it is a duty.
“1xCare was created to support a more informed, transparent, and sustainable gambling ecosystem — one where player protection and well-being are central.”
The Research Hub will focus on evidence-based studies on gambling behaviour, addiction risks, emerging technologies and other player-focused analysis.
The EduCare section will promote responsible gambling education, including awareness programmes and a code of ethical standards that can be applied across operators and communities alike.
In a similar vein, TechShield will contain responsible gambling tools to support player efforts.
Finally, the Support & Well-Being area will signpost support opportunities for players, such as counselling, helplines and holistic services.
Westbury continued: “1xCare is built to contribute, not to compete.
“We look forward to working alongside existing experts and organisations that share the goal of better protecting players and building greater trust in the industry.”
The 1xCare hub will operate with a dedicated governance structure, including an Advisory Committee, which will be responsible for publishing regular, transparent updates on the initiative.
1xBet operates as a sports betting and online casino platform, and has partnered with major sporting organisations around the world.
Earlier in the week, 1xBet discussed how responsible gambling challenges still remain for international betting brands, some of which do not understand how to scale player protection operations across culturally different markets.
The 1xBet website and app is available in 73 different languages
