Solaire Resorts has strengthened its executive team with the appointment of gaming industry veteran Daryl Bruce as Vice President of Gaming Optimization.
Announcing the move on LinkedIn, Bruce said he was excited to take on a position that combines many of the areas he has developed throughout his career, including gaming product strategy, operational optimization and industry partnerships. He added that he looks forward to working with Solaire's teams and business partners to further enhance the property's gaming experiences while supporting continued growth.
Bruce joins the Philippine integrated resort after serving as Director of Product Management Asia at Light & Wonder, where he was responsible for product management across the region. Prior to that role, he spent nearly four years at SkyCity Adelaide, holding several senior management positions, including General Manager Gaming, General Manager Electronic Gaming and Casino Food & Beverage and General Manager Gaming Machines.
His earlier career also includes leadership positions at Wymac Gaming Solutions as General Manager of Strategy and Product Management, as well as more than eight years at Crown Resorts. During his tenure at Crown, Bruce held progressively senior roles spanning electronic gaming machines, table games product management, commercial development and electronic table games strategy.
With a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mathematics from RMIT University, Bruce has built a career focused on gaming performance, product innovation and operational excellence across land-based casino environments.
His appointment comes as Solaire continues to strengthen its position in the Philippine gaming market. Located on an 8.3-hectare site in Manila's Entertainment City, Solaire Resort Entertainment City offers 793 luxury accommodations across two hotel towers, a comprehensive casino floor, numerous dining outlets and entertainment facilities.
Bruce said he is eager to contribute to the company's next stage of growth by working alongside Solaire's experienced teams to further elevate its gaming operations and guest experience.
