International Game Technology (IGT) PlayDigital has formed a new partnership with Hollywoodbets to gain entry into the South Africa online gambling market, featuring an initial roll out of 20 games from the supplier. 

"Expanding into South Africa marks an exciting milestone for IGT PlayDigital as we continue to grow our global footprint,” IGT Digital CEO Gil Rotem said. 

“Collaborating with Hollywoodbets allows us to bring a proven portfolio of high-performing, player-favorite titles to a dynamic and rapidly evolving market. Our focus is on delivering engaging content that resonates with players and drives long-term value for our partners."

As a result of the collaboration, Hollywoodbets will begin offering residents of South Africa access to IGT PlayDigital titles such as Cash Eruption, Cleopatra and Mystery of the Lamp Treasure Oasis.

According to the supplier, 20 additional titles are expected to roll out “in the coming months” as the partnership continues to expand. 

Hollywoodbets Head of Product Wayde Dorkin spoke on the new collaboration, having said, "With the most site visitation in the South African iGaming market, Hollywoodbets is pleased to bring IGT PlayDigital’s globally recognised content portfolio to our players in South Africa.

 supports our strategy of providing diverse, high-quality content to our growing customer base."

On 8 June, Caesars Entertainment’s commercial properties in Atlantic City, New Jersey hosted the first-ever land-based debut of IGT PlayDigital’s Cash Eruption slot family, amplified by a series of on-property experiences.

Cash Eruption VIP Amazing Treasures, Hephaestus, Red Hot Joker and Temple of Fire officially launched at Caesars Atlantic City, Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City and Tropicana Atlantic City in New Jersey.
