Frank joins Brightstar Lottery after a compliance and ethics role with FanDuel
Appointment follows leadership changes across Brightstar’s global lottery operations
Supplier continues to focus on regulated lottery technology, retail systems and iLottery expansion

Brightstar Lottery has appointed Allie Frank as Director of Compliance Operations, adding sports betting compliance experience to its lottery regulatory function.

Frank announced the move after leaving FanDuel, where her work covered compliance and ethics, anti-bribery and corruption, employee conduct, responsible gaming and regulatory risk.

Brightstar operates in a sector where compliance oversight spans public procurement, lottery system integrity, responsible gambling standards, data controls and state-level regulatory requirements.

The supplier serves nearly 90 lottery customers across six continents and is the primary technology provider to 26 of the 46 US lottery jurisdictions.

The appointment comes during Brightstar’s first full year operating under its standalone lottery identity. The business formerly operated as IGT Lottery before the legal name change to Brightstar Lottery PLC in 2025, following the separation of IGT’s gaming assets.

Frank said: “I’m excited to share that I’ve joined Brightstar Lottery as Director of Compliance Operations.”

She added: “I will be helping build and strengthen the compliance program.”

Brightstar’s compliance remit also includes licensed B2B lottery supply. Its Cyprus subsidiary holds a Malta Gaming Authority licence for Type 1 lottery and secondary lottery critical gaming supplies, while the group lists principal operating facilities in Providence, Las Vegas and Rome.

The move follows several operational changes at Brightstar. In June, the supplier confirmed Marco Tasso would become EVP and COO, Global Lottery, from 1 July, succeeding Renato Ascoli’s operational leadership responsibilities.

Brightstar has also continued to renew lottery technology contracts, including a five-year Oregon Lottery extension covering central system upgrades and 2,200 point-of-sale digital signage units.

Earlier this month, Brightstar renewed its exclusive Ghostbusters lottery licensing agreement with Sony Pictures for a further five years, continuing a partnership that has produced more than 25 lottery games across over 20 lotteries since 2015.
