Mohegan Digital is the iGaming division of resorts developer, Mohegan, and the company has just announced a landmark partnership with the Philadelphia Flyers to expand its reach in Pennsylvania.

This iGaming arm of Mohegan operates three different online casinos in Connecticut, Ontario and Pennsylvania, with the third of those brands, 'Mohegan PA,' now set to become the official partner of the ice hockey team.

The new marketing campaign will consist of various engagement driving projects including in-game and on-site activations throughout the NHL season, ice contests for randomly selected fans and a special game highlight section on NBC Sports Philly named the 'Mohegan Moment.'

Guy Greene is the VP of Digital Gaming for Mohegan Digital and explained what an opportunity this deal provided the company, saying: "We're excited to bring this multi-faceted campaign to life and deliver memorable experiences both on and off the ice through this dynamic alignment with the Philadelphia Flyers and NBC Sports Philly."

Mohegan Digital has only recently launched its online sports betting product on the Mohegan PA app, expanding its offering at the perfect time for a major sports sponsorship deal like this.

Bryan Furey, SVP of Corporate Partnerships for the Flyers, commented: "We're thrilled to provide a platform here in Philadelphia for Mohegan Digital and Mohegan PA Online Casino to reach the most passionate fans in America."

On game-days, the operator will be featured as part of the marketing materials and there will even be a "unique 'Rink Roulette' ice projection" at certain matches.
