The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) has reported the state’s total gaming revenue for June 2026, as operators combined to generate just over $1.3bn during the monthly period, equating to an increase of 0.8%.
Slot machine revenue in Nevada totaled $923.1m and rose 2.6%, while table game revenue decreased by 2.8% to $420.7m. Revenue from slot machines was primarily generated by multi-denomination games which drove $742.3m and increased 9.1%, while baccarat accounted for $102.1m of table game revenue but fell 21.3% year-over-year.

How does the state's revenue compare to results without a World Cup effect?
Perhaps affected by the lack of a World Cup presence during June, gaming revenue in Clark County decreased 0.7% to $1.2bn, while the Las Vegas Strip witnessed a fall of 1.4% to $754.7m.
Many of those who typically visit Las Vegas to gamble may have instead been motivated to travel to other US destinations where World Cup matches were being played in June.
However, such roadblocks had little effect on the Downtown area in Las Vegas, which reported a 2.6% increase in gaming revenue to nearly $75.5m. North Las Vegas also witnessed growth from the prior year period, rising 3.4% to $24.7m.
Boulder Strip and Mesquite reported June 2026 gaming revenues of $89m and $14.6m, respectively, equating to increases of 1.9% and 2.7%. Laughlin gaming revenue decreased 4% to $38.4m, while balance of country revenue fell 0.6% to $154m.

Which counties accounted for the most revenue during FY2025/2026?
Washoe County managed to generate $107.6m of gaming revenue for June and increase 17.6%, led by the Reno area which grew revenue 20.3% to $81.6m. Sparks revenue rose 16.2% for a total of $15.9m, while North Lake Tahoe reported a decrease of 5.9% to $2.1m.
South Lake Tahoe and the Carson Valley Area produced respective June revenues of $21.3m and $11.9m, representing increases of 7.5% and 3.6%. Elko County reported a decrease in gaming revenue of 1.8%, having accounted for just over $32.3m.
Mobile sports betting in Nevada generated $33.7m of gaming revenue for June, equating to growth of 12.7%. Despite decreasing 18.4% year-over-year, mobile sports betting on baseball generated the most revenue of any sport with $17.9m. Other revenue totaled $18.9m and grew 48.5%, however, which could primarily consist of wagers related to soccer events.

During the fiscal year period in Nevada, running from July 1, 2025 through June 30, the state’s total gaming revenue increased 2.6% to $16bn, while Las Vegas Strip FY revenue rose 2% to nearly $9bn.
The NGCB recently celebrated a legal victory over Kalshi after forming an agreement to cease the operator's prediction market activities on July 24.
