SEGG Media anticipates having definitive agreements in place by Q3 2026 and to ‘begin generating revenue by Christmas’
Following the acquisition, SEGG Media will be permitted to maintain both a non-remote and online casino operating license

Sports Entertainment Gaming Global (SEGG Media) has confirmed the organization is in “advanced discussions” to acquire UK casino and gaming assets in the hopes of providing “a new source of regulated wagering revenue.”

While the operator which currently manages the casino and gaming assets has not been unveiled at the time of writing, SEGG Media anticipates having definitive agreements in place by Q3 2026 and to “begin generating revenue by Christmas.”

Following the acquisitions, SEGG Media would be permitted to maintain a non-remote or land-based casino operating license, as well as expand into the country’s remote or online casino and gaming space.

“Our strategy has been to build a diversified portfolio of regulated sports, entertainment and gaming businesses. A UK casino spanning both an online operating license and a physical casino complements our existing portfolio and overall growth strategy,” SEGG Media Chairman Marc Bircham said.

“We’re particularly drawn to the economics of online casino gaming, which we believe offers a more predictable, higher-margin revenue profile than other regulated wagering products. (The) UK is the best market for SEGG Media to start this expansion.”

SEGG Media has been working with financial advisors “for months” to complete the acquisitions and reported “substantial progress” on negotiations with the current stakeholders of the casino and gaming assets.

According to the Gambling Commission, the UK gaming industry generated approximately $16.8bn of gross gambling yield for the financial year ending on March 31, 2025, representing an increase of 7.3%.

The announcement follows SEGG Media’s approval for a strategic transition of Lottery.com’s operations to an exclusively affiliate platform, with initial rollout set to take place in North America and LatAm.

SEGG Media’s Board of Directors approved the “transformational global growth strategy” on July 27, creating a “scalable framework” for Lottery.com to partner with licensed lottery operators.
