Jeju Dream Tower continued its strong performance into July, reporting record monthly casino revenue. South Korea's largest integrated resort also extended the momentum built during the second quarter.
According to preliminary results released by Lotte Tourism Development, net casino revenue reached KRW51.6bn in July, up 5.8% from June and 18.8% compared with the same month last year. The result surpassed June's KRW48.8bn and marked the property's highest monthly casino revenue on record.
Table games remained the primary revenue driver, generating KRW48.9bn during the month, an increase of 3.6% from June and 17.7% year-on-year. Slot machine revenue recorded the strongest monthly growth, rising 76.7% month-on-month to KRW2.7bn and increasing 44.1% compared with July 2025.
Hotel revenue also improved, climbing 9.4% from June and 11.3% year-on-year to KRW8.8bn.
For the first seven months of 2026, casino revenue totaled KRW317.3bn, representing a 33.3% increase over the corresponding period last year. Table game revenue rose 33.8% to KRW302.7bn, while slot revenue increased 24.4% to KRW14.7bn. Hotel revenue for the January-to-July period reached KRW49.7bn, up 13.4% year-on-year.
Gaming volume presented a more mixed picture. July table drop, which measures the amount customers exchanged for gaming chips, totaled KRW216.8bn. While this represented a 13.1% increase for the year-to-date period, it declined 3.5% from June and was 9.9% lower than July 2025, indicating that stronger revenue was supported by improved gaming hold rather than higher wagering volume.
The latest figures build on Jeju Dream Tower's record second quarter, when combined casino and hotel revenue reached KRW192.6bn. During that period, casino revenue climbed 33.7% year-on-year to KRW147.1bn, while Grand Hyatt Jeju reported occupancy of 88.3%, supported by continued growth in inbound tourism and a high proportion of international visitors. Full second-quarter earnings, including adjusted EBITDA and net income, have yet to be released.
South Korea's tourism industry has also recently pushed back against proposed casino reforms.
The July update follows a record second quarter for Jeju Dream Tower, with the company yet to announce its full quarterly earnings, including adjusted EBITDA and net income
