Inspired Entertainment has reported its financial results for Q2 and first-half of 2026, as revenue during the quarterly period decreased 24% to $60.8m, although net income improved to $0.2m following a loss of $7.8m for Q2 2025. 

The supplier stated that revenue for Q2 increased 6% “sequentially” despite the higher UK remote gaming duty being introduced on April 1. Inspired’s adjusted EBITDA for the quarter fell 5% to $27.1m, while net operating income rose 25% to $9.9m. 

Interactive operations was the only sector to manage an increase in revenue for Inspired, growing 15% to $15.7m. Retail solutions and virtual sports reported respective decreases of 37% and 3% for Q2, totaling $36.2m and $8.9m. 

Service revenue for Inspired accounted for $54.3m of the total for Q2 2026, representing a decrease of 26.4%. Product sales remained stagnant from the prior year period, once again reaching $6.5m for Q2.

During the first-half period, net revenue for the supplier decreased 16% to $118m, while Inspired’s net loss improved 96.2% to $0.3m. Net operating income increased by a significant 101% as well, having eclipsed $19.1m for the second quarter of 2026. 

Interactive revenue was the only to report an increase for H1, rising 26% to $32.4m while retail solutions revenue fell 30% to $68m. Virtual sports accounted for the remaining $17.6m but decreased 2%, as adjusted EBITDA for Inspired managed to rise 8% to $50.7m. 

Inspired’s service revenue for H1 totaled $107.6m and fell 17.7%, followed by products revenue which generated $10.4m and grew 5.1%. 

On April 22, Inspired announced that it was approved by the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission to launch in the province and registered as an iGaming Goods or Services Supplier – Critical Gaming Systems.

The supplier has previously formed an active presence in Alberta through its partnership with Play Alberta, the government-operated iGaming platform, which has provided practical insight into the local market, regulatory environment and player preferences.
