The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) has reported the state's total casino revenue and occupancy rate throughout Q3 2025, as net revenue for Atlantic City properties was $942.1m, equating to a decrease of 0.1%. Gross operating profit for the third quarter of 2025 totaled $236.2m, representing a decrease of 2.7% and primarily generated by Borgata Atlantic City.

Borgata Atlantic City produced just over $228.2m of net revenue and $66.2m of gross operating profit for Q3 2025, equating to increases of 4.5% and 9.6%, respectively, from the prior year period.

Only Golden Nugget and Ocean Casino also generated increases in gross operating profit for Q3 2025, rising by 14.9% and 12.8%, respectively, for totals of $7.2m and $41.1m.

Harrah's Atlantic City and Ocean Casino managed to generate increases in net revenue throughout the third quarter of 2025, as Harrah's revenue grew 1.5% to $81m, while Ocean Casino's increased 9.6% to $161.1m. Harrah's Atlantic City gross operating profit fell 2.5% year-over-year, however, having produced $22m for Q3 2025.

Bally's casino revenue for Q3 2025 decreased 12.4% to just over $51m, while Caesars Atlantic City reported a 6.6% decrease in revenue for a total of $70.7m. Golden Nugget and Tropicana Atlantic City reported Q3 2025 net revenue decreases of 7.3% and 3.1%, respectively, to account for $43.4m and $84.1m of revenue.

Resorts witnessed no year-over-year change for net revenue or gross operating profit, but generated nearly $46.6m of net revenue throughout Q3 2025 and $3.7m of gross operating profit. Caesars and Bally's reported Q3 2025 gross operating profits of $16.6m and $5.9m, respectively, equating to decreases of 29.4% and 9.6%.

Despite reporting the highest occupancy rate of any Atlantic City property for Q3 2025 at 93.5%, Hard Rock witnessed a net revenue decrease of 0.3% to $165.4m, as well as a fall in gross operating profit of 6% to $42.7m.

Ocean Casino was a close second with a hotel occupancy rate of 92.8% for Q3 2025, while Caesars Atlantic City was the only fellow property to cross the 90% threshold at 90.7%.

Bally's and Borgata reported Q3 2025 occupancy rates of 70.1% and 88%, respectively, while Golden Nugget witnessed the lowest occupancy rate of each property at 66.6%.

Harrah's, Resorts and Tropicana Atlantic City generated hotel occupancy rates of 73.8%, 81.1% and 88.1% for Q3 2025, respectively, helping the total figure increase by 0.2 percentage points year-over-year.

Over the nine-month period ending on September 30, 2025, however, hotel occupancy rate fell 0.8 percentage points to 73.3%, while total casino revenue decreased 1.3% from the prior year period to $2.51bn. Gross operating profit for the nine-month period was $556.9m, representing a fall of 3.4%.
