DraftKings has introduced Spanish-language functionality across its sportsbook and casino app for US and Ontario customers
The feature will encompass all aspects of the customer experience, including onboarding, gameplay, promotions, customer support and responsible gaming resources

DraftKings has launched Spanish-language functionality within its mobile sportsbook and casino application, expanding accessibility for Spanish-speaking customers across its US and Ontario markets.

The new feature aims to create a more intuitive user experience while broadening the operator's addressable market.

The Spanish-language experience is initially available to select existing customers and will expand to all users in the coming weeks.

Commenting on the move, Corey Gottlieb, Chief Product Officer at DraftKings, stated: "Today, Spanish-speaking players represent a growing segment of DraftKings' customer base.

"By bringing Spanish-language functionality to our best-in-class product, we're

creating a more intuitive experience for our customers and expanding our total addressable market. This is consistent with our commitment to delivering the most authentic, personalized product for everyone."

The Spanish-language integration will ultimately extend across the entire customer journey, including account registration, navigation, betting content, gameplay features, promotional materials, customer support services and Responsible Gaming Center tools and resources.

The feature is accessible through the DraftKings Sportsbook & Casino mobile application on both iOS and Android platforms as the rollout continues across eligible jurisdictions.

The launch follows recent expansion activity by DraftKings in multiple markets. Last week, the operator announced it will commence sports betting operations in Missouri on 1 December, becoming the second company to receive a direct mobile wagering license in the state.

Earlier this month, DraftKings also opened its first retail sportsbook in Puerto Rico at the Foxwoods El San Juan Casino, with plans for online operations pending regulatory approval.
