ANJL announced its support for Juventus APAC

The National Association of Games and Lotteries (ANJL) has announced its support for Juventus APAC, a project representing Clube Atlético Juventus in leading amputee football competitions in Brazil and abroad, currently made up of 27 athletes.

The partnership was structured by K4S, with support from 4Performance, connecting sport, inclusion and social impact.

ANJL framed the initiative as reinforcing the idea that growth and social responsibility should go hand in hand and a way for the regulated betting sector to expand its role in society.

The association has recently introduced a new set of measures aimed at strengthening integrity in sports to address match-fixing risks.

“This initiative reinforces a conviction: growth and social responsibility must go hand in hand,” stated the association.

“By supporting projects that promote inclusion, human development and transformation through sports, the regulated sector expands its role in society and strengthens its commitment to a more responsible, transparent, and sustainable market.”

Recently, Brazil's gambling associations have pushed for a phased rollout of technical requirements in an upcoming online gaming ordinance, warning that imposing changes on licensed operators before B2B supplier rules are finalized could give illegal sites a competitive advantage.

ANJL raised the issue during a meeting with the SPA, which said it expects the interministerial ordinance covering platform design, user experience and online games to be published this week.

Separately, ANJL has added TaDa Gaming, BB Gaming and Legitimuz Tecnologia to its membership, and earlier this year launched a new integrity tool to combat match-fixing.
