Nominations are officially open for the Global Gaming Awards Europe, Middle East & Africa 2027, as the industry’s most prestigious Awards prepare to celebrate a decade of recognising excellence across the region. 

Now entering their 10th edition, the Global Gaming Awards EMEA recognise the operators, suppliers, products and executives that have made the biggest impact across the European, Middle Eastern and African gaming markets over the past year. 

Companies are invited to put themselves forward across 15 categories: 

Sports Betting Operator of the Year, sponsored by BETBY 

Recognising the operator that has set the standard for sports betting across the EMEA region through strong performance, innovation and customer experience. 

Sports Betting Supplier of the Year 

Recognising a supplier that has delivered outstanding technology, content or services to sports betting operators across the region. 

Casino of the Year 

Celebrating an outstanding land-based casino property that has excelled in areas such as gaming, hospitality, entertainment and overall customer experience. 

Casino Supplier of the Year 

Recognising a supplier that has made a significant impact on the land-based casino sector through its products, technology and services. 

Online Casino of the Year, sponsored by SPRIBE 

Celebrating an online casino operator that has demonstrated excellence through its offering, innovation, growth and player experience. 

Online Casino Supplier of the Year 

Recognising a supplier whose technology, content or services have made a significant contribution to the online casino sector. 

Online Slot of the Year, sponsored by FIRST.bet 

Celebrating an outstanding online slot (whether newly launched or established) that has made a notable impact through its performance, innovation, gameplay and player engagement. 

Crash Game of the Year 

Recognising an outstanding crash game (whether newly launched or established) that has demonstrated strong performance, originality and player engagement. 

Casino Product of the Year 

A new category for 2027, recognising an outstanding product (whether newly launched or established) created for the land-based casino sector, from slots and electronic table games to systems, technology and other innovations enhancing the casino floor. 

Affiliate Programme of the Year, sponsored by 1spin4win 

Celebrating an affiliate programme that has demonstrated strong partnerships, service, innovation and results across the EMEA gaming industry. 

Platform Provider of the Year 

Recognising a platform provider that has delivered outstanding technology, reliability, flexibility and innovation to its operator partners. 

Product Launch of the Year 

Celebrating the most impactful new gaming product or technology launched in the EMEA region during the qualifying period. 

Breakthrough Company of the Year 

Recognising a company that has made significant progress over the past year and established itself as an emerging force within the EMEA gaming industry. 

Social Responsibility of the Year, sponsored by Soft2Bet 

Celebrating a company or initiative that has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to responsible gaming, sustainability, community impact or wider social responsibility. 

Executive of the Year, sponsored by Interblock 

Recognising a senior industry executive whose leadership, achievements and influence have made an exceptional impact on the EMEA gaming industry over the past year. 

New for 2027 is the Casino Product of the Year category, introduced to provide dedicated recognition for the outstanding products and innovations shaping the land-based casino sector. The category will celebrate products that have made a notable impact on casino floors across the EMEA region during the qualifying period. 

Self-nominations are open to companies operating in or supplying the gaming industry across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. There is no cost to submit a nomination, be shortlisted or win a Global Gaming Award, with all companies considered entirely on merit. 

Following the nominations process, the Global Gaming Insider team will conduct extensive research across every category and consult with independent industry experts before determining the official Shortlist. Shortlisted companies will then have the opportunity to submit a brief supporting statement before voting opens. 

The winners will be chosen by a panel of senior industry executives, with the entire voting process independently adjudicated by KPMG US to ensure fairness and transparency.

The Global Gaming Awards EMEA 2027 presentation will take place on Monday, 18 January 2027, on Day 1 of ICE in Barcelona, once again bringing together senior leaders from across the industry to celebrate the winners.
