Mindway AI has partnered with ATG to support responsible gambling efforts in Sweden through the rollout of the GameScanner behavioural monitoring system.
The agreement introduces additional oversight to ATG's safer gambling processes at a time when operators in the Swedish market are adapting to increased regulatory expectations.
GameScanner uses artificial intelligence together with assessments from gambling harm specialists to identify early signs of at-risk or problematic betting behaviour.
The system monitors the entire player base and is presented by Mindway AI as a virtual psychologist, combining automated analysis with human evaluation.
ATG's Head of Fair Play, Sophie Linghag, said: "Responsible gambling is our most important sustainability issue. With GameScanner, we are further strengthening our commitment to responsible gambling and enhancing the safety of our customers."
Mindway AI CEO, Rasmus Kjaergaard, said: "We are thrilled to partner with ATG, a company that shares our commitment to responsible gambling and player protection."
ATG, which operates under a Swedish government licence, offers racing, sports and casino products and has long contributed funding to the national horse industry.
The collaboration aims to reinforce ATG's safer gambling safeguards as the market continues to increase its focus on monitoring, affordability and customer risk profiling.
In September 2025, Mindway AI partnered with Crown Resorts to integrate GameScanner across its Australian gaming venues. That agreement represented the first land-based implementation of the technology in Australia.
Mindway AI has also collaborated with BetComply and Better Collective on projects centred on player protection and harm prevention.
