The New Jersey Lottery has formed a new partnership with musical artist Jon Bon Jovi to release themed scratch-off tickets on October 5, marking the first phase of its collaboration with the state icon. 

“Jon Bon Jovi is synonymous with New Jersey, and we’re excited to celebrate our shared sense of Jersey pride with players across the state through these scratch-offs,” New Jersey Lottery Executive Director Jim Carey said. 

“Celebrating an artist whose music, career and connection to our state have resonated with so many is especially meaningful, and we look forward to giving fans even more ways to get involved in the months ahead.”

The musical artist originally formed his self-titled band in 1983 out of Sayreville, New Jersey, and has released 16 studio albums since their debut. 

Speaking on the new collaboration, Bon Jovi said: “I will always call New Jersey home, so I’m happy to join the New Jersey Lottery in celebrating the place that holds so many of my favorite personal and career memories."

Ticket designs for the new Jon Bon Jovi-themed scratch-offs will be unveiled during September, with additional activations also to be announced by the New Jersey Lottery. 

On August 13, BetMGM formed a new partnership with Awager to integrate live-streamed slot titles onto the operator’s iCasino platforms in New Jersey, which are meant to replicate the “authenticity” of land-based titles. 

Awager, currently serving as an Aristocrat company, will utilize its remote gaming technology to introduce titles such as Buffalo Ascension and Lightning Link to BetMGM and Borgata Online users in New Jersey.
