Wynn Al Marjan Island has revealed The Townhomes, a new accommodation concept the resort says represents an entirely new category.
In its announcement, the company was explicit about the distinction.
“It’s not a larger suite, not a grander villa, but an entirely new category of accommodation. A private world positioned at the very heart of the resort, where the energy of the destination sits at your doorstep and a sanctuary entirely your own waits behind it,” stated the company.
Wynn Resorts and Wynn Design & Development framed the launch as an outgrowth of a deliberate approach to the project, describing their guiding question not as "what more can we offer?" but "what has never been offered at all?"
The company said that instinct, to define a category rather than follow an existing one, runs through the development at Wynn Al Marjan Island, and that The Townhomes, part of the resort's Enclave development, represent one expression of that ambition rather than its final form, with further reveals expected as the project progresses toward its 2027 opening.
The announcement adds to a string of recent updates from the property as it builds toward launch.
Wynn Resorts has already unveiled plans for its first-ever beachfront destination at the resort, featuring 550 meters of shoreline, 319 meters of reef, three distinct beach environments, 61 cabanas and 327 lounge chairs.
The company has recently appointed Andrea Aguirre-Jugueta as Vice President of Private Access, part of a series of executive hires made ahead of the integrated resort's opening.
Marjan and Wynn Resorts have broken ground on Janu Al Marjan Island, with construction officially underway on the project in Ras Al Khaimah
