Following a successful rollout of Galaxy Gaming’s Monopoly Blackjack Progressive at Metropolitan Mayfair, Park Lane Club and The Sportsman Casino, Metropolitan Gaming has chosen to extend the launch to additional properties in the UK, as well as its portfolio in Egypt.
“Monopoly Blackjack Progressive has been a strong addition to our casino floors, giving our customers a more immersive and entertaining table games experience,” Metropolitan Gaming Group Gaming Director Mark Malia said.
“The response across London has been excellent, supported by a successful launch campaign and strong engagement from our teams and players. That performance gave us the confidence to expand the product across further UK venues and into Egypt, and we’re pleased to be continuing our partnership with Galaxy Gaming.”
The Monopoly Blackjack progressives will be introduced across Metropolitan Gaming’s Nottingham, Manchester and Glasgow properties, along with the operator’s portfolio of four casino establishments in Egypt.
Galaxy Gaming and Metropolitan Gaming will also collaborate on a dedicated scratch card promotion – Kings of Monopoly – which provides players with an opportunity to win free play and other prizes.
Metropolitan Gaming originally upgraded 19 blackjack tables to Galaxy Gaming’s Monopoly progressive in January 2026, marking the technology’s first-ever installation in Europe.
Galaxy Gaming EMEA Sales Consultant Gavin Wright also spoke on the extended launch, having said, "Metropolitan Gaming has demonstrated the power of combining a globally recognized brand with a compelling progressive experience. The Monopoly Blackjack Progressive has delivered strong player engagement, increased wagering activity and measurable performance improvements across the portfolio.
“Their successful marketing activation further amplified results, and we expect to see continued momentum for Monopoly-branded Progressives throughout the UK and EMEA markets."
Galaxy Gaming also reported its financial results for the second quarter of 2026 on 11 August, having set a new record in recurring revenues and net of royalties after generating $7.9m for growth of 8% year-on-year.
Digital segment revenues, including net of royalties, produced $3.1m of revenue for Galaxy Gaming, equating to an increase of 11%. Interest expense also decreased for the supplier during Q2, falling 10% to $0.8m.
Galaxy Gaming appointed Anand Singh as the company’s new CTO on 14 July, where he will look to bring long-standing industry expertise to the supplier’s senior leadership team
