FanDuel has introduced new enhancements to its sportsbook product ahead of the 2026-2027 National Football League (NFL) season, including a new Rewards Club, extended BetProtect+ capabilities and an improved game intelligence feature.
The new sportsbook Rewards Club works as a points-based monthly loyalty program featuring daily promotions and weekly opportunities to choose a reward, as well as milestone-driven challenges.
The operator cited “strong customer engagement” for its BetProtect+ tool during the NBA Playoffs and WNBA season as motivation to extend the offering to NFL wagers, providing customers the chance to pay a 3% surcharge to add full-game protection from player injuries.
FanDuel Managing Director of Sports Karol Corcoran spoke on the new enhancements, having said, "Our customers look forward to football season, and this year we're giving them more control of their experience to make it the most rewarding season ever.
"Rewards Club offers those who continue to choose FanDuel Sportsbook more promotions and flexibility in how they use them, and we're also thrilled to bring new research tools and an enhanced version of our popular Bet Protect+ to the NFL."
The “new and improved” game intelligence feature offers “confidence-building tools” which assists users throughout the NFL season, including game logs, player statistics, team history and player prop trends.
The NFL recently announced deals with DraftKings, FanDuel and Fanatics prior to its opening game on September 9 – with each operator signing new multi-year partnership agreements.
DraftKings is set to introduce its own exclusive offers and activations for users on September 2, including free gasoline in select US and Canada markets and the operator’s Take Your Game Anywhere campaign featuring Nick Jonas and Kevin Hart.
Ahead of the 2026-2027 football season, BetMGM also introduced new enhancements to its sportsbook product, including expanded cash out features, betting insights, a rewards hub and improved live betting and bet building experiences.
