Caixa presented its third-quarter 2025 results, reporting continued growth across its lottery operations and core banking activities.

According to the institution, Loterias Caixa generated BR6.4bn in revenue between July and September, an increase of 9.9% compared to the same period in 2024.

Of this amount, BR2.4bn was directed to legally designated beneficiaries, supporting federal programmes in social security, sport, culture, public safety, education and health.

Across the first nine months of 2025, lottery revenue reached BR18bn, with BR6.9bn channelled toward social initiatives.

The bank emphasized the importance of this funding model, noting that lottery transfers remain a central mechanism for financing public policies nationwide.

"These figures are especially relevant for the Brazilian population, as Caixa represents an important source of resources for social programmes and public investment across the country," the institution stated.

Caixa's broader financial performance also strengthened during the period. The bank reported recurring profit of BR3.8bn in Q3, a 15.4% increase year-on-year and 2.2% above the previous quarter.

The credit portfolio continued to expand, although delinquency rates rose sharply in agribusiness lending and in the free corporate credit segment. The institution said ongoing monitoring and adjustments are being undertaken to manage these pressures.

President Carlos Vieira highlighted the bank's national role during major events, pointing to its participation in initiatives linked to COP30.

"COP30 showcased Brazil as a global leader in sustainability, and Caixa played a central role in this movement," he stated.

"This achievement shows that the modernization of our processes, our strong presence around the country and the dedication of our employees make a difference in the lives of Brazilians."
