The Arizona Department of Gaming (ADG) has reported the state’s event wagering activity for July 2026, as operators reported a total handle of $599.5m between retail and mobile betting, equating to an increase of 29.3%. 

Operators managed to combine for $48.6m of event wagering revenue as well, representing 19.3% growth year-over-year. FanDuel led all licensed Arizona operators with $16.7m of revenue during July, having increased 20.1%. 

DraftKings accounted for nearly $15.2m of the state’s total event wagering revenue for July and increased 16%, while BetMGM produced $4.9m but decreased 5.3% from the prior year period.

Fanatics Sportsbook reported nearly $4.2m of event wagering revenue in Arizona during the monthly period, equating to an increase of 30.1%. Caesars Sportsbook followed Fanatics after generating $1.9m of event wagering revenue for July, although the figure marks a decrease of 5%.

How has event wagering in Arizona shifted throughout the year?

The last operator to cross the $1m revenue threshold during July was bet365, which reported just over $3.8m of event wagering revenue and increased the total 78.5%. 

Mobile event wagering operations accounted for $598.3m of Arizona’s total handle for July and increased 29.4% year-over-year, while retail produced just $1.2m of the state’s handle for a decrease of 2%. 

Operators currently licensed in Arizona also submitted nearly $4.1m of privilege fees to Arizona regulators during July and paid out over $409.2m in winnings to bettors. 

At the start of August, the ADG allocated an event wagering operator license to Circa Sports – in partnership with the San Juan Southern Paiute Tribe – allowing the operator to offer sports betting across the state.

Running from June 26 through July 10, the ADG opened an application window for event wagering licenses, which included no less than one event wagering license reserved for Arizona Tribes and no less than one event wagering license reserved for sports franchises.
