The $50,000 donation was made through DraftKings Serves, which supports organizations that ‘make a meaningful difference’

DraftKings has formed a new collaboration with the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Transportation Network and presented a $50,000 donation to the organization as part of its Gameday activation – originally held on September 2.

The operator introduced exclusive offers and activations for users, including free gasoline in select US and Canada markets and the new Take Your Game Anywhere campaign featuring Nick Jonas and Kevin Hart.

The DAV Transportation Network offers complimentary rides to and from the Department of Veteran Affairs’ medical facilities for ill and injured US veterans, providing up to 230,000 trips per year through the program.

“We’re grateful for DraftKings’ support and commitment to our nation’s veterans,” DAV CEO and National Adjutant Barry Jesinoski said.

“This generous donation will help ensure more veterans have access to reliable transportation when they need it most.”

The $50,000 donation was made through DraftKings Serves, which looks to support organizations and initiatives that “make a meaningful difference in communities.”

DraftKings SVP of Communications & Corporate Social Responsibility Sabrina Macias also spoke on the donation, having said, “Through DraftKings Serves, we’re proud to support the DAV Transportation Network and the dedicated volunteers who help veterans reach critical medical appointments in communities across the country.

“DraftKings is committed to supporting veterans through initiatives that promote their well-being.”

As part of the Gameday activation, DraftKings provided free gasoline at select stations in Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, Atlanta, Detroit, Edmonton and Toronto, while the Take Your Game Anywhere campaign is currently live across television, digital and social platforms.

The new promotions and activations were unveiled to help DraftKings build excitement for the start of the 2026-2027 National Football League season, which officially kicked off on September 9.
