Kalshi has formed new partnerships with the US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) and the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to connect members of both organizations with technical assistance and financial education tools to help navigate economic uncertainty.
USHCC is the US’ largest small business advocacy group, representing 260 local chambers and hundreds of business associations and corporations.
"We're excited to welcome Kalshi to our membership, and to partner with a company that's redefining innovation in financial markets,” USHCC President and CEO Ramiro Cavazos said.
“This collaboration reflects USHCC's commitment to fostering a dynamic business environment where forward-thinking companies can grow, connect and help shape the future of America's economy."
Educational programming from Kalshi is set to be provided across the USHCC and Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s full network of local chambers and business associations.
According to the release, Kalshi also intends to provide “the tools to act” on economic uncertainty in the US, such as contracts related to weather, agriculture or fellow risks specific to a respective business.
Both USHCC and the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber help support Hispanic-owned businesses across the US, which will look to receive “real-world strategies” for protecting their operations.
"At the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, we believe small businesses thrive when they have access to the right tools, resources and partnerships,” Commerce President & CEO Nicole Quiroga said.
“Our collaboration with new GWHCC Member Kalshi reflects our shared commitment to empowering entrepreneurs across the DC, Maryland and Virginia region through practical education and innovative solutions. We look forward to helping our business community better understand risk management through this upcoming webinar."
Kalshi Co-Founder & COO Luana Lopes Lara also spoke on the new collaborations, having said, "Hispanic-owned businesses are the engine of the American economy.
“They're leaning in to adopt new financial innovations, and we couldn't be prouder to partner with USHCC to continue their business success."
The partnerships will be unveiled through joint workshops and webinars hosted with local chambers, educational content distributed through USHCC's network and direct technical assistance to Hispanic business enterprises.
