BetMGM has formed a new exclusive online casino rights partnership with All3Media International – owned by Banijay Entertainment – to release The Traitors Faithful Riches for iGaming players, inspired by the well-known reality competition television series.
“The Traitors has captivated millions with its blend of suspense and strategy. Those qualities create a compelling foundation for an online slot, allowing fans to engage with the franchise in a new way while capturing the intrigue and drama that made the show a cultural phenomenon,” BetMGM SVP of Gaming Oliver Bartlett said.
“Television and movie IP is a key pillar of our content strategy, and our partnership with All3Media International gives us an opportunity to build a lasting iGaming franchise.”
BetMGM received intellectual property rights to The Traitors to use for slots, table games and non-traditional casino games, with the new release set to coincide with the The Traitors: New Blood season premiere on September 17.
The Traitors Faithful Riches was developed in partnership with Games Global and is currently available for online players in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
According to BetMGM, the new online release is “one of several planned titles that will extend the ‘The Traitors’ brand across multiple gameplay experiences.”
Earlier in September, BetMGM formed a new multi-year agreement with the Minnesota Vikings National Football League (NFL) franchise, naming the operator as the team’s official sports betting and online casino partner in Canada.
As a result of the agreement, BetMGM was also granted the ability to use Vikings marks across approved sports betting, online casino and marketing activities in Canada, resulting in the new Vikings Big Kick LuckyTap title going live exclusively in Ontario and Alberta.
While playing Vikings Big Kick LuckyTap, online casino players attempt to successfully kick a football through the goal posts, with multipliers seemingly available for converting multiple kicks in a row.
LeoVegas Group extended its agreement with Newcastle United through a multi-year deal on September 10, naming BetMGM as the club’s official betting partner in the UK and Europe
