Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa continued its My Rhythm. My Flavor. ¡Mi Gente! Hispanic Heritage Month celebration for a third consecutive year with a $100,000 donation to 10 local community organizations.
Each organization received $10,000 contributions from the operator, reflecting Hard Rock International and Seminole Gaming’s commitment to “honoring Hispanic culture and empowering the Latin community.”
"Our commitment is about more than celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month; it is about building authentic connections and creating experiences where our guests and community feel welcomed, connected and celebrated," Hard Rock Tampa President Travis Lunn said.
"We are proud to support the organizations making a meaningful difference throughout Central Florida."
Following the latest donations, Hard Rock Tampa’s initiative has assisted 30 local organizations since inception, as the month-long celebration looks to honor contributions of Hispanic and LatAm communities.
"Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates the people, traditions and cultural influences that make our communities stronger," Hard Rock and Seminole Gaming VP of LatAm Business Development Lourdes Mola said.
"We are proud to recognize and support the people and organizations doing meaningful work in the Hispanic community and creating a brighter future for generations to come."
Organizations which received contributions from Hard Rock Tampa include the HAPBWA Women’s Association, Chi Chi Rodriguez Youth Foundation, Hispanic Federation, Iroko Dance Academy Foundation and Miss Latina Tampa.
Hard Rock also launched its new Hard Rock Hotel Malta property in St. George’s Bay on September 2, celebrating the grand opening with a classic guitar smash ceremony and numerous special guests in attendance.
The 397-room property marks a €350m (US$405.5m) investment in Malta’s tourism sector and helped create “several hundred” new jobs across the hospitality and food & beverage industries.
