Boyd Gaming has appointed Skylar Dice as the new VP & GM of Aliante Casino Hotel & Spa in Las Vegas, concluding the gaming executive’s tenure with Golden Entertainment which spanned over 11 years.
“After more than 11 years with Golden Entertainment, I’m closing an important chapter of my career and beginning a new one. I’m incredibly grateful for my time at The Strat and for the opportunity to lead such an iconic Las Vegas property. More than anything, I’m thankful for the people I’ve had the privilege to work alongside,” Dice said.
“I’ve learned a tremendous amount, built relationships I’ll carry with me and had experiences that helped shape me as a leader. Boyd has a long history in Las Vegas and a reputation for strong operations, great people and developing leaders.
“I’m looking forward to joining the team, learning the property and the organization and building on the success already happening at Aliante. I leave The Strat proud of what we accomplished together and genuinely excited about what’s ahead. Here’s to the next chapter.”
Dice previously served as SVP and GM of The Strat Hotel, Casino & Tower in Las Vegas, having begun his career with Golden Entertainment as VP and GM of Rocky Gap Casino Resort during 2015.
Fittingly given his last name, Dice first began his gaming career as a Dealer at Turtle Creek Casino and Soaring Eagle Casino from 1997-2000, prior to becoming a Pit & Relief Shift Manager at Greektown Casino for just over six years.
On August 26, Boyd introduced new race and sportsbook enhancements at Aliante Casino Hotel & Spa, featuring a new video wall, upgraded seating and VIP amenities.
The improvements are part of Boyd’s strategy to invest in its portfolio of southern Nevada properties, previously touched on by President and CEO Keith Smith following the operator’s Q2 2026 financial report.
