The Ohio Casino Control Commission has released the state’s casino activity for August 2026, as the four operators which report the regulator combined to generate $93.9m, equating to an increase of 5.5%.
Slot machines accounted for $70m of the state’s total casino revenue and grew 6% according to the Casino Control Commission, while table games produced $23.9m and rose 3.9% year-over-year.
Hollywood Columbus Casino led all commercial operators in Ohio with just over $29.2m of revenue for August, representing an increase of 15.7%.
Jack Cleveland Casino managed to generate nearly $22.6m of revenue for August and increased 0.3%. Hard Rock Cincinnati and Hollywood Toledo followed with $21.1m and $21m of casino revenue for August, respectively, equating to growth of 3.3% and 0.8%.
Hollywood Columbus reported $22.8m of slot machine revenue and just over $6.4m from table games, while Jack Cleveland Casino managed $14.7m of slot revenue and nearly $7.9m generated by table games.

At the Toledo property, slot machine revenue reached $18.3m and table games produced $2.7m, as Hard Rock Cincinnati reported $14.2m and $6.9m from the verticals, respectively.
The Ohio Casino Control Commission also issued 10 cease-and-desist orders to prediction market operators currently active in the state on October 6, including Robinhood, Coinbase, Novig, Underdog and Polymarket.
Kalshi remains involved in litigation with the Ohio regulator, having recently suffered a loss after the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit ruled against its disputes with policymakers in Ohio and Tennessee on September 28.
Each of the operators served with cease-and-desist orders on October 6 were given 14 days to respond and shut down their respective prediction market operations in Ohio.
