The Illinois Gaming Board has reported the state’s total casino results for the month of August, as commercial operators generated nearly $192.8m of slot machine and table game revenue, representing an increase of 10.8%.
Rivers Casino accounted for most revenue of any land-based operator in Illinois by a wide margin with $46.3m, having increased 10.6%. No other operator in Illinois generated over $20m, although Wind Creek Chicago reported $19.8m of revenue and grew 16.2%.
The Illinois regulator reported $146.6m of electronic gaming device (EGD) revenue for August, representing an increase of 7%, while table games produced nearly $46.2m of revenue and rose 24.6% year-over-year.
Hollywood Casino Aurora and Hard Rock Casino Rockford generated August revenues of $16.6m and $13.8m, respectively, equating to growth of 77% and 5.9%. The Joliet counterpart to Hollywood Casino reported $13.2m of revenue for August, having increased 18.4%.
Bally’s Chicago managed to account for just over $12.8m of Illinois’ total casino revenue during August and rose 14%, while Grand Victoria Casino produced $12.3m of revenue but fell 2.3%.
Full House Resorts Illinois and Harrah’s Joliet Casino & Hotel reported respective August 2026 revenues of nearly $11.4m and $10.4m, representing an increase of 4% for the Full House Resorts property but a decrease of 5.7% for the latter.

Which properties accounted for the most casino revenue in Illinois during August?
Tax allocations during August included just over $48.1m issued to the State of Illinois and $12.3m to the respective local communities in which the properties are located.
