Highlight Games has expanded its European footprint with the launch of its Soccerbet virtual sports portfolio on Fortuna Entertainment Group's online platforms in Romania.
The rollout makes the archive-based virtual football products available to customers of Fortuna's Casa Pariurilor and Fortuna Romania brands.
The integration brings multiple iterations of Soccerbet to the market, including titles featuring official archive footage from Serie A, LaLiga and English Premier League clubs. The products use real historic match clips combined with RNG-driven outcomes - offering a virtual sports experience positioned between traditional wagering and instant-win content.
Commenting on the new deal, Highlight Games CEO Steven Holmes stated: "I'm delighted to see our Soccerbet portfolio go live with FEG in Romania.
"This launch represents another significant milestone in our expansion across regulated European markets, and we look forward to building on our partnership with Fortuna and bringing even more compelling content to its customers in the months ahead."
Erik Klems, Group RNG Product Manager of Fortuna Entertainment Group added: "We are excited to introduce Highlight Games' Soccerbet products to our Romanian customers. The combination of authentic archive football footage and innovative gameplay brings something genuinely fresh to the market and perfectly complements our existing portfolio.
"At FEG, we are committed to offering players the best and most engaging experiences available, and this partnership with Highlight Games supports that mission. We anticipate a strong reaction from players and see great potential for continued collaboration."
The launch follows a period of wider expansion for Fortuna. In October, the operator entered the Montenegrin market with a majority stake acquisition in Lob, one of the country's largest betting operators. FEG has indicated that continued investment in technology, AI-powered personalisation tools and responsible gaming frameworks remains central to its regional strategy.
