BetMGM has once again launched a responsible gambling (RG) advertisement campaign starring NHL player and BetMGM Brand Ambassador Connor McDavid.

The television spot, titled Mullet Over, is currently airing in the US and Canada as well as on various digital platforms.

Alongside actor Terry Ryan, McDavid advises players to remain mindful and deliberate any time they choose to wager on BetMGM. Mullet Over also promotes the operator's RG tools and resources as part of a "lighthearted take on a hockey-themed hairstyle."

"Filming the 'Mullet Over' commercial with Terry was a fun opportunity to combine hockey humor with a meaningful message," McDavid said.

"It's important to stay in control, and BetMGM's tools and resources help customers do just that."

Mullet Over was directed and produced in collaboration between New York-based agency CAPE and BetMGM's creative and RG teams.

RG resources currently available on BetMGM include spending and session time limits, while the operator also utilizes British Columbia Lottery Corporation's GameSense platform.

"Our new campaign with Connor and Terry builds upon our approach to deliver an entertaining and memorable responsible gambling message," BetMGM Director of RG Richard Taylor said.

"We're committed to finding new and creative ways to reach customers and encourage them to 'mull it over' before they place a bet."

McDavid has served as a BetMGM Brand Ambassador since March 2022, as Ryan transitioned from his own career in the NHL to begin acting in 2007.

Following McDavid's previous RG campaign in 2024, BetMGM reported a 38% increase in deposit limits and a 55% increase in stake limits from players located in Ontario.
