The event will take place from 3–5 March 2026 at Riocentro in Rio de Janeiro, bringing together thousands of delegates, including operators, suppliers, and regulators, to explore the future of Brazil's newly regulated market.

The IBJR was founded in 2023, following Brazil’s move to establish a regulated iGaming and sports betting market. The organisation represents Brazil's leading betting companies and is committed to building a betting ecosystem that is fair, sustainable and responsible. Central to its mission is combating the illegal market while championing responsible gambling for players and companies alike.

The trade body counts some of the most influential international and Brazilian brands among its members, including bet365, BetMGM, Betsson Group, Entain (Sportingbet), Flutter Brazil (Betnacional and Betfair), Kaizen Gaming (Betano) and KTO, alongside many other leading names.

Andre Gelfi, Director, Board Member and Co-Founder of IBJR, welcomed the agreement as an important step for the regulated market, saying: “This partnership is extremely important not only from an institutional perspective, but also in reinforcing the work we have been doing to promote an even more robust, sustainable and responsible sports betting and online gaming ecosystem.

“Standing alongside a partner as relevant as SBC brings us together with other initiatives and platforms for dialogue with the sector’s key stakeholders, public authorities and society.”

In turn, SBC's partnership with IBJR brings one of Brazil's leading regulatory voices to SBC Summit Rio, strengthening the event's focus on responsible gaming and market governance.

Lucía Mouriño, VP Relationships LatAm at SBC, said: “Partnering with IBJR allows us to align SBC Summit Rio with one of the key organisations shaping Brazil’s regulated betting landscape. As the market matures, it is essential that conversations around sustainability, compliance, and integrity remain front and centre.

“IBJR plays a crucial role in combating the illegal market, maintaining strong player protection standards, and ensuring its members are compliant with regulations. Working together ensures these priorities are reflected at the highest level of industry dialogue at our summit.”

SBC Summit Rio will unite Brazil's betting and gaming industry across three days of networking, education, and business development. Over 150 of Brazil’s leading industry speakers will share insights across dedicated conference tracks, including Leadership, Tech Innovation, and Marketing, and specialist summits such as the Affiliate Leaders Summit and Payment Expert Summit offering focused insights into Brazil's affiliate and payments ecosystems.

The show floor will host exhibitors spanning responsible gaming, player protection, and compliance, offering practical insight into the foundations of Brazil’s regulated market. By bringing operators and industry stakeholders together, SBC Summit Rio serves as a central platform for strengthening a sustainable, player-focused ecosystem.
