The charity partnership has been extended to three years with a £1m target
Fundraising has included flagship events, employee challenges and customer donations

Evoke has raised more than £400,000 ($537,000) for the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association and confirmed a two-year extension to its charity partnership, taking the collaboration to a three-year term.

The betting and gaming group, which owns brands including William Hill, 888 and Mr Green, has set a new collective fundraising target of £1m over the duration of the partnership.

The partnership was launched in November 2024 following an internal colleague nomination process and has since been supported by company-wide participation across Evoke's offices and retail locations.

Fundraising has been driven by a combination of large-scale events and individual initiatives, including two flagship "Evoke the Stars" events, which raised £117,000 and £153,000 respectively.

Additional contributions have come from employee-led activities such as endurance challenges, pitch days, half marathons and in-shop customer donations.

Evoke also hosted an MND Race Day at Ripon Racecourse, which generated £33,000 for the charity.

The MND Association was nominated by a retail area manager at Evoke, reflecting a personal connection to the disease within the business.

MND affects thousands of people across the UK each year and has received increased public attention in recent years, particularly following the death of former Leeds Rhinos player Rob Burrow. Leeds is also a key location for Evoke's operations.

Commenting on the achievement, Ben Wright, Director of ESG and Sustainability at Evoke, stated: "Raising over £400,000 in just over a year is a huge credit to our colleagues and our customers. The energy behind this partnership has been incredible, from our flagship events to endurance challenges and local fundraising and we're committed to going even further over the next two years to help reach our £1m target.

"A huge thanks goes to our colleagues who have really driven this work and to our customers for their generous support all year."

Tanya Curry, CEO of the MND Association, added: "It's almost impossible to put into words just how much this partnership with Evoke really means to our community. The money raised will not only allow us to support more people living with MND and their families but it will also mean we can invest in more research which gives us the greatest hope for the future.

"We are so grateful to everyone at Evoke for the kindness, generosity and friendship they have shown to our community and we are thrilled to continue our partnership into 2026 and beyond."
