Beter has appointed Matias Tapia Gomez as its new Latin America Business Development Manager, reinforcing the supplier’s focus on expanding its presence across the region.
Based in Argentina, Tapia Gomez will be responsible for driving Beter’s commercial growth in Latin America, including the development of new partnerships with regional operators and aggregators.
He will also manage relationships with existing customers, with a scope focused on supporting the deployment and performance of Beter’s fast-betting sports and esports content.
Tapia Gomez brings more than 20 years of commercial and business development experience, including eight years working within the iGaming sector.
His previous roles include positions at Stats Perform, Altenar and LSports, where he was involved in expanding operations across regulated and emerging Latin American markets.
Beter said the appointment aligns with its wider strategy to scale its footprint in jurisdictions where demand for high-frequency betting formats continues to increase.
The supplier holds regulatory approvals in several key markets, including Peru and Argentina, specifically the City of Buenos Aires, enabling it to supply licensed operators directly with locally compliant content.
Chuck Robinson, Chief Revenue Officer at Beter, said: “Latin America is a fast-moving market and one that has become incredibly important for Beter with our products already live with big-name operators in Argentina, Peru, Brazil, and beyond.”
Robinson added: “Matias’ appointment as LatAm Business Development Manager will be a further catalyst for growth in the market and a significant step towards achieving the goals we have set.”
Tapia Gomez said: “Fast-betting content is a must-have for operators targeting the Latin American market, and Beter is the go-to provider of this content.”
He added: “As LatAm Business Development Manager, I look forward to making more operators aware of Beter’s offering and helping them enhance their proposition to players.”
The appointment comes as suppliers continue to increase investment in Latin America, where short-format betting products are becoming a core component of sportsbook strategies.
In December 2025, Meridianbet expanded its sportsbook offering by integrating Beter’s fast-betting content across 18 regulated jurisdictions, including several Latin American markets, such as Peru. The deal included esports tournaments and short-duration sports formats distributed across retail and online channels.
Fast-betting formats have become an increasingly prominent growth area for sportsbooks in Latin America
